Billy Kim

Earlier this month I was in South Korea, invited by Dr. Billy Kim to attend the 50th anniversary event of Billy Graham’s 1973 Korean crusade that reached millions and turned a spiritual tide in that country. You’ll hear more about that on next week’s FIRST PERSON as I bring a testimony and report which I recorded in Seoul.

But in anticipation of next week’s report, I’ve chosen an interview from the FIRST PERSON archive in which Billy Kim told me his inspiring personal story. Starting as a house boy to an American soldier in the Korean War, Dr. Kim’s life took a dramatic turn. You’ll hear him tell it in his own words as you listen to FIRST PERSON this week. Dr. Kim’s story is a testament to the power of a life wholly surrendered to God for service in the Kingdom.
