The Appalachian Trail is a 2, 186 mile arduous hike through America. This week’s FIRST PERSON guest, Craig Clapper, knows because he has walked every step of it, earning the title of Thru-hiker. Even more remarkable is that this retired pastor decided to do it while in his early 60’s.
Known as “Hoosier” to fellow hikers he met along the way, Craig’s goal was to minister to those he met on the trail. In the process he learned many spiritual lessons himself. He talks about those lessons in this week’s conversation.
Craig, or “Hoosier”, is the author of LEGGING IT, Life Lessons Learned Thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail. He often shares those lessons at seminars and men’s retreats, so if you would like to contact Hoosier for this purpose, he can be reached via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. His book is available on Amazon here.
