Hundreds of guests have joined us on FIRST PERSON the past 7 years, but none more special to me than my friend Joe Carlson who joins me on mic for this week’s show. Joe is the producer of this radio program/podcast, but he’s also the producer of many other radio projects, and serves as a Senior Producer at Moody Radio in Chicago.
Joe helped start FIRST PERSON as a volunteer and I count him as a close friend. But Joe is much more than a radio producer. He has experienced a clear calling in his own life which we’ll explore in conversation. It started with on-the-street talks with the homeless he encountered on his way to and from work, and has now led to a jail ministry as Joe is a chaplain in the Cook County (Chicago) jail, serving with Chicagoland Prison Outreach (www.cpoministries.org).
NEXT WEEK: Pastor and Artist Jason Dorsey
