Jon Wiebe

I’ve enjoyed getting to know Jon Wiebe recently. Jon is the President and CEO of the Mennonite Brethren Foundation, located in Kansas, which encourages good financial stewardship while resourcing a variety of ministries to carry out their mission for Christ and His Kingdom.

But it was a personal experience that I wanted to explore with Jon following two ministry trips he and his wife, Ellynne, took to Ukraine with Mission Eurasia in recent years. You see, not only did Jon’s own ancestors come to America from Ukraine, but the Mennonite Brethren church started in that country.  So, in our FIRST PERSON interview, Jon tells the story of the powerful experience of both ministering to and fellowshipping with Ukrainian believers.
