For a few days this past summer, I sat under the teaching of Pastor Mark Vroegop at the Maranatha Bible Conference in Michigan. I discovered that Mark has studied and written books on the theme of biblical lament, so I wanted FIRST PERSON listeners to hear the lessons that Mark and his family have learned from God’s Word as they have experienced pain.
Mark is the Lead Pastor at College Park Church in Indianapolis, IN. He has authored DARK CLOUDS, DEEP MERCY: Discovering the Grace of Lament which was the 2020 ECPA Christian Book of the Year, the DARK CLOUDS, DEEP MERCY DEVOTIONAL JOURNAL, and WEEP WITH ME: How Lament Opens a Door for Racial Reconciliation. There is more about his books at MarkVroegop.com/books.
