On FIRST PERSON we try to bring you stories from the many different angles of life and how God calls individuals to serve Him in some unique way. This week, you’ll meet a man who was an advertising executive headed for his dream job when God called him into ministry. Michael Johnson is now the President of the Slavic Gospel Association (SGA), based near Rockford, IL, is this week’s guest to tell not only how God led him to serve, but also about the storied history and present day work of SGA.
With a war raging between Russia and Ukraine, SGA is doing what they have always done– serve the churches and people of the former Soviet Union and encourage unity in difficult circumstances.
