Now a follower of Jesus Christ, Peter Charette was once a drug user, drug dealer, and alcohol abuser. He describes himself at the time as a mean-spirited, angry young man who was also very deceitful. He was homeless for a brief time and realized that his situation was the result of his poor choices. Though he knew little about the Gospel at first, eventually he relinquished control of his life to the Lord.
As you listen to FIRST PERSON this week, you’ll hear how Christ has led Peter since he made that decision. Today, he has a deep desire to disciple others and show them the path to life that his has experienced.
Peter Charette’s book is titled DISCIPLESHIP: Living Out the Mandate of God.
