In 2017, Petr Jasek was released from a Sudanese prison after spending 445 days confined with members of ISIS. Petr had been charged with being a spy while working with the underground church in Sudan. Petr joins me on FIRST PERSON this week to describe the traumatic experience and talk about his faith before, during, and after his imprisonment.
At the conclusion of the interview with Petr, we kept recording past the allotted radio time. You can hear that extension of the conversation when you click on Petr Jasek Part 2 in the audio archive here on the website.
Petr is Global Ambassador for Voice of the Martyrs. His book recounted his prison experience is Imprisoned with ISIS: Faith in the Face of Evil.
