Troy Lamberth

This week on FIRST PERSON you’ll meet Troy and Melissa Lamberth, a husband and wife team who enjoy making movies for the glory of God. Together they are the founders of Five Solas Media. Using live-action adult actors (but dubbing in children’s voices), their goal is to create films, documentaries, podcasts, books, and other forms of media to teach about how God used people throughout history to carry on the gospel. Thus far, they have produced films on Martin Luther, Katie Luther, John Calvin, and John Knox.

Troy is the executive producer of the Haven Today radio program (that is his day job), and he is also a pastor at our local Reformed Baptist church. He has had over 25 years of film and television production experience and is passionate about storytelling and sharing the gospel.

Melissa is a mom, homeschool teacher, and art teacher who is passionate about art, history, and the gospel. Five Solas Films is also a creative outlet for her as well, illustrating people who have impacted history with the gospel, researching and writing—this creative outlet easily brings those passions together.
