This week, you’ll meet Tom Atema on FIRST PERSON. Tom has served several non-profit, Christian organizations in leadership roles and has worked with men like Jack Wyrtzen, Billy Graham, and John Maxwell. Tom is the Co-Founder of Heart for Lebanon, a humanitarian and relief agency driven by the compassionate heart of Jesus Christ to meet the needs of refugees and disenfranchised in the Near East.
Tom is also the author of Leadership in Blue Jeans. In the book, he shares the mistakes and successes of his leadership journey. Tom discloses the ups and downs of his leadership from a young leader in New Jersey to becoming an executive at two influential ministries—WMIT, the flagship radio ministry of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and EQUIP, an international leadership development organization founded by John C. Maxwell. Tom interweaves practical leadership lessons into the candid sharing of his story.
